I am Michael Powell and I am retired. I live quietly, in a retirement community, with my wife Hope and our “Little Guy” Rusty.

Being retired leaves me quite a bit of time for two passions in my life, Photography and Videography. I certainly am not a professional but I have studied and taken classes on editing video. I make a lot of mistakes but that is how I learn. The Videos I make and Pictures I take, are mostly for my pleasure and that of my family and friends. But, since I have taken the time to make this site and post them here, anyone who might stumble across them is welcome.

There are many sites, on the web, to help individuals learn to shoot and edit video. I go to almost all of them but some of my favorites are linked to on the left of this page. Also, on the left and below the short line, are links to some of the forums I belong to and follow. There is a wealth of knowledge in these forums and folks that are far more adept at video and photography than I am. The good thing...they want to share their knowledge and do so freely.
